I'm pumped |chick|
- cabin fever is taking it's toll. This is a great way to get the MKF season underway and in a great location! Other anglers who think they will attend please post a reply so we can get a rough idea of numbers.
C'mon April... |vince|

Yes, I am ready to get on the water. It's that time of the year when I've had enough winter and I am ready for warmer weather.

I'll be at Harsen's Island after work on the Thursday night of the outing. I'm looking forward to the fishing and socializing.

What is your secret weapon? Did you get a new paddle (like the one you tried out at SBD in September)? I bought a new fiberglass 240cm paddle in December and haven't used it yet. I really need the extra length in the X-Factor but I might not need it in the new yak. We'll see.

Come on spring!

Oh yeah. Well, my money is on trollingfortrout's Makai.

I checked out the Makai website. That looks cool.

Trollingfortrout,

Is it pretty quiet with the Honda engine?

Its a little like a lawnmower not to loud. It has a decent muffler system. The Harsens trip is three days, so are people camping do we drive back every morning how does it work?

We have a cottage on an island we will be staying at, the only way to get out there is by kayak. If you are staying there for a few days, you need to load all your gear in the yak.
